Anniversary: Jensen

Jensens celebrate 65th anniversary

Vernon and Bernice (Danielson) Jensen celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 13, 1942.

The couple was honored with an open house for family and friends, hosted by their children.

Engagement: Bredeson and Rieniets

Tiffany Rieniets and Nicholas Bredeson announce their engagement.

Parents are John and Peggy Rieniets of West Fargo, Duane and Cindy Christenson of Fargo, and Douglas Bredeson of Rothsay.

Tiffany graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, with a degree in early childhood education and Nick is employed with Tri-State Equipment.

The couple will make their home in Colorado.

A march 2 wedding is planned at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo.

Wedding: Leabo

Cassie Bernard and Randy Leabo were married Oct. 14, 2006, in a private ceremony at the Great Lakes Aquarium overlooking the harbor in Duluth, with Lori Wasvick officiating,

Parents of the couple are Mike and Shelley Bernard of Fergus Falls, Harland and Lori Wasvick of Ashby, and Al and Linda Leabo of Carlisle.

The bride's attendants were Sarah Rach, April Johnson and Julie Hennen. The groom's attendants were Caleb Bernard, Shannon Leabo, and Troy Hennen.

Devon Leabo, son of the groom, was the ring bearer. The bride and her father were delivered to the ceremony in a white horse-drawn carriage which later returned to deliver the bride and groom to the private reception.

A reception for the couple as held Oct. 28, at Hilltop Celebration Church in Fergus Falls.

The couple resides in Fergus Falls.

Anniversary: Peterson and Vedbraaten

Shelby Vedbraaten and Christopher Peterson of Fergus Falls announce their engagement.

Shelby is a 2003 graduate of Crookston High School and is a 2005 graduate of Northland College, Thief River Falls. She is employed as an LPN at Pioneer Care Center in Fergus Falls and is attending Northland College in East Grand Forks. She will graduate this spring with a degree in Registered Nursing.

Christopher is a 2000 graduate of Red River High School in Grand Forks, N.D., and a 2004 graduate of Northland College in Thief River Falls. He is employed by the city of Fergus Falls as a police officer.

A June 9, 2007, wedding is planned in Grand Forks.
