Wedding: Brandon

Janelle Marie LaCoursiere and Lukas Grant Brandon were united in marriage on New Year’s Day. The couple spoke their vows at the Oakland United Methodist Church in Minneapolis with the Rev. Roy Vanderwerf officiating.

Janelle, daughter of Mike LaCoursiere and Patty Nunn, is a 2000 graduate of Frazee High School and a 2004 graduate of the the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. Janelle is the marketing director for the History Theatre in St. Paul.

Lukas is the son of Kraig and Jackee Lerol of Mayville, N.D., and formerly of Fergus Falls, and Grant and Diane Brandon of Eagan, Minn. He is a 1996 graduate of Detroit Lakes High School and is employed as an accounts manager for Warner Tech-Care Products, Inc., in Minneapolis.

The couple resides in Minneapolis.

Engagement: Brunsberg and Riebe

Terry and Deanna Riebe of Champlin, Jeff Brunsberg of Fergus Falls, and Judy Braeger of Leonard. N.D., announce the engagement of their children, Kristina Riebe and Derek Brunsberg.

Kristina is a graduate of Champlin Park High School. She is an underwriting technician at Assurant Health in Plymouth. Derek is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris. He is a trainer and quality insurance specialist at Assurant Health in Plymouth.

A Dec. 15, 2007, wedding is planned at Union Congregational Church in St. Louis Park.

Wedding: Hoyt

Erin Terese Erickson and Eric Eric Hoyt were married Aug. 19, 2006, at Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev. Scott Mikkelson officiating.

Parents of the couple are James and Randi Mason of Fergus Falls, Margory Hoyt of New Effington, S.D., and the late Arthur Hoyt.

Matron of Honor was Tammy Tufte, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Alison Mason, sister of the bride, Rachel Tasa, sister of the groom, and Amy Anderson, friend of the couple. Amie Romsdal, friend of the bride, was personal attendant.

Best Man was Chad Anderson, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were John Hoyt, brother of the groom, Jay Tasa, brother-in-law of the groom, and Ryan Peterson, cousin of the groom. Ushers included Darin Peterson, cousin of the groom, Scott Steffen, Mike Welch, and Shannon Bjorgaard, all friends of the groom. Flower girl was Natalie Tufte and ring bearers were Ethan and Noah Tasa.

The wedding was followed by a reception at the Eagles. The couple resides in Fergus Falls.
