Engagement: Syndergaard and Rund

Meghan Rund and Lee Syndergaard of Bloomington announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Kitty Rund of Fergus Falls, Barbara Smith and Roland Hobbs of Cortez, Colo., and David Syndergaard and Jennifer Owens of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Meghan is a floral designer for R.J. Kramer in St. Paul and Lee is a marketing manager for Lifetime Fitness in Eden Prairie. Both are graduates of the University of Colorado at Denver.

They will be married June 30, 2007, at the Rund family farm.

Wedding: Folk

Cynthia Piekarski and Jesse Folk were married Sept. 9, 2006, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Bob Kieffer officiating.

Parents are Charles and Carol Piekarski of Fergus Falls and Robert and Penny Folk of Hazen, N.D.

Matron of honor was Jessica Metzger, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carla Swanson, Charlene Blume and Christine Mackai, all sisters of the bride, and Esther Sayler, sister of the groom.

Best man was Andy Thomas, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Folk, Anthony Folk and Daniel Folk, all brothers of the groom, and Steve Schantzen, friend of the groom.

Flower girl was Brooke Swanson, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Brandon and Jacob Mackai, nephews of the bride. Ushers were John Sayler, brother-in-law of the groom; Dominic Blume and Syd Swanson, brothers-in-law of the bride; and Tim Heitkamp, friend of the groom.

The reception was held at the Eagles in Fergus Falls.

Cynthia is a registered nurse in Trauma ICU in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jesse is an engineer at Alstom Power in Erlanger, Ky.

The couple lives in Florence, Ky.

Engagement: Westman and Freitag

Tara Ann Freitag and Donald Ray Westman announce their engagement.

Parents are Joe and Tami Freitag of Fargo and Don and Roxanne Westman of Mapleton, N.D. Grandparents are Marlin Freitag of Fergus Falls, Lila Zimney of Williams, Minn., Gene and Carol Nygard of Erhard, Don and Virginia Westman of West Fargo, and Raymond and Carol Hajek of Davenport, N.D.

Tara is employed at Eagle Tyke Child Care of Fargo and Donald is employed at Menards of Fargo. A March 3, 2007, wedding is planned at Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo.

Engagement: Huisenga and Johnson

Amber Johnson and Ryan Huisenga announce their engagement.

Parents are Jan Johnson of Elbow Lake, formerly of Fergus Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson of Hinckley, and Tammy Huisenga of Moorhead.

Amber just completed her degree in elementary education and Ryan is owner of 4 Him Roofing in Fargo.

An April 7 wedding is planned in Fargo.
