Richard and Marcy Otto Schuetze of Fergus Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Britt Marie Schuetze, to Joel Jonathan Piekarski, son of Jonathan and Brenda Piekarski, of Fergus Falls.
She is a 2000 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2004 graduate of North Dakota State University with a biology education degree. She is employed as a science teacher by Discovery Middle School in Fargo.
He is a 1998 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2002 graduate of North Dakota State University with an ag economics degree. He is a farmer.
An Aug. 18, 2007, wedding is planned at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls.

Darcie is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and Minnesota State University Moorhead where she received her bachelors degree in accounting. She is a Senior Planning and Reporting Accountant at Caterpillar Paving Products in Brooklyn Park.
Joe is a graduate of North St. Paul High School. He works in the family business at Lake Area Flooring in White Bear Lake.
