Anniversary: Albertson

Allen and Barb Albertson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house in their honor from 5 to 7 pm. Saturday, July 28, at the VFW in Fergus Falls. A dance will follow from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

Engagement: Tonneson and Brown

Allan and Freda Brown of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Teri Brown of Minneapolis, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tami, of Lakeville, to Mark Tonneson of Lakeville. Mark is the son of Jim and Carolyn Tonneson of Shoreview, formerly of Fergus Falls.

Tami is completing her business management degree at Capella University, and is employed as a mortgage underwriter.

Mark is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and Concordia College, Moorhead. He is employed as a network administrator.

A January 2008 wedding is planned in Maui, Hawaii.

Engagement: Ziegler and Buckingham

Patrice Buckingham and Nathan Ziegler announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Randy and Mary Buckingham of Fergus Falls, Bruce Ziegler (Tammy Hunter) of Dent and Tammie Drake of St. Paul.

She is a 2005 graduate of Rothsay High School and attended her first year of college at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Wadena.

He is a 2001 graduate of Perham High School and a 2006 graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Wadena. He is employed with Comstock Construction.

A Nov. 3, 2007, wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Wedding: Zachmann and Eide

Laurel Eide of Elbow Lake and Carl Zachmann of Fergus Falls were married May 19, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Marv Abrahamson officiating.

Attending the bride were Katie Brambrink, maid of honor; and Heidi Stokes and Kaila Zachmann, bridesmaids.

Attending the bridegroom were Ryan Buesseler, best man; and Charles Wicklund and Josh Eide, groomsmen. John Loeschke and Nick Ford served as ushers.

The bride, a 2001 graduate of Foley High School, is the daughter of Leroy and Gail Eide of Elbow Lake, formerly of Foley. Laurel is the granddaughter of Gladys Eide of Montevideo and the late Lester Eide and the late Arthur and Gladys Stolen of Granite Falls.

She is employed by the Falls Baking Company in Fergus Falls.

The groom, a 2001 graduate of Fergus Falls High School, is the son of Jeff and Deb Zachmann of Fergus Falls. Carl is the grandson of Carl and Virginia Zachmann of Vining and James and Darlene Loeschke of Ortonville. He is employed by The Home Depot in Fergus Falls.

A reception at the Bigwood Event Center in Fergus Falls followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned at Jay Cooke State Park near Duluth and will make their home in Bloomington, Ill.

Engagement: Zumwalde and Shuck

Linda Shuck and Bill Zumwalde announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Jo Anne Haiby of Fergus Falls, the late Verlyn Haiby, Sharon Zumwalde of Fergus Falls and the late Joseph Zumwalde.

She is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed at the Fergus Falls Medical Group.

He is a graduate of Moorhead High School and Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He is employed with Affiliated Computer Services in Fergus Falls.

An Aug. 25, 2007, wedding is planned at City Hall Park.

Engagement: Erdmann and Lien

Kenneth and Kathryn Lien of Fergus Falls and Timothy and Janice Erdmann of Denhoff, N.D., announce the engagement of their children, Michelle and Levi.

Michelle is a 1999 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2003 graduate of North Dakota State University where she earned a degree in civil engineering. She was employed in a St. Paul civil engineering firm, Bonestroo and Associates.

Levi is a 1997 graduate of Goodrich High School and a 2002 graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in computer science and international studies. He is employed in Bismarck, N.D., with the North Dakota State Land Department as the director of information technology.

An Aug. 11, 2007, wedding is planned at Life Church in Fergus Falls.

The couple plans to reside in Bismarck.

Wedding: Larson and Asche

Rachel Lorraine Asche and Nicholas Alan Larson were married Jan. 6, 2007, at Brooklyn Center.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Kay Asche of Barnesville and Mark and Naomi Larson of Fergus Falls.

A reception was held June 9 in Fergus Falls at the Nazarene Church.

The couple lives in Brooklyn Center.
