Jerry and Sandi Perkins of Hazel Green, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Candice Marie Perkins, to Russell Lindsey Keene, son of Lindsey and Lucy Keene of Meridian.
She is the granddaughter of James and Ethel Sperr of Shell Rock, Iowa and Kytha Stewart of Hartselle, Alabama.
She is also the great-granddaughter of the late Florence Sperr of Fergus Falls.
She is a 2001 graduate of Arab High School and received her bachelor's degree in 2005 in Athletic Training from The University of West Alabama.
She will graduate in August of 2007 with a doctorate in physical therapy from The University of Saint Augustine.
He is the grandson of the late Robert and Lucille McDonald of Forest, Ms., and the late Curtis and Grace Keene.
He is a 2000 graduate of Northeast High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2005 in Industrial Technology from The University of West Alabama.
He is McKeel Academy of Technology in Lakeland, Florida as a high school technology teacher.
A June 16, 2007, wedding is planned at at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian.

Vallevands celebrate 25th anniversary
Mark and Debbie Vallevand of Lino Lakes, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary May 22.
Their daughter, Kimberly, and brother, Joe and wife, Wendy Feverhake, hosted a reception Tuesday, May 29, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Circle Pines.

Miriam Russell and Aaron Hamilton announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are David Russell of Goerlitz, Germany, Cornelia Russell of Neckergemuend, Germany, and Tim and Marlys Hamilton of Fergus Falls.
She graduated from high school in Heidelberg, Germany, and Aaron graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls. They met while attending Morning Star School of Ministry in South Carolina.
A July 28, 2007, outdoor wedding is planned at the home of Loren and Darlene Synstelien in Fergus Falls.
