Engagement: Brusven and Conley

Colleen Rae Conley and Randy John Brusven announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Alex and Sharon Conley of Fergus Falls, Diane Frazier of Pelican Rapids, and the late John Brusven, formerly of Rothsay.

Colleen is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School, Fergus Falls Community College and Valley City (N.D.) State University. She is employed by the Fergus Falls Police Department.

Randy is a graduate of Rothsay High School, Fergus Falls Community College and Concordia College, Moorhead. He is employed by the United States Postal Service in Pelican Rapids.

A July 7, 2007, wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls.

Engagement: Guttormson and Aslagson

Nancy Aslagson and Steven Guttormson announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Robert and Beatrice Swenson of Alexandria, Sylvia Guttormson of Underwood, and the late LeRoy Guttormson.

She is employed by Lake Region Healthcare Corporation in Fergus Falls. He is employed by Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls.

A July 21, 2007, wedding is planned at the home of Nancy’s parents.

Engagement: Bowe and Thompson

Jon and Vickie Thompson of Pelican Rapids announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Jo, to Shane Edward Bowe, son of Don and Rene McKercher of Wilton and Mike and Dawn Bowe of Kelliher.

Kayla is a 2001 graduate of Pelican Rapids High School and a 2005 graduate of Bemidji State University, where she is pursuing a master's degree in biology.

Shane is a 1996 graduate of Bemidji High School and received a master's degree in biology from Bemidji State University in 2006. He is employed as an aquatic biologist for the Red Lake Department of Natural Resources.

An Aug. 4, 2007, wedding is planned at Thumper Pond Resort in Ottertail.
