Engagement: Avilla and Krueger

Chelsea Krueger and Jorge Cruz Avilla announce their engagement.

Parents are Lee and Karen Krueger of Fergus Falls and Rafael and Inez Cruz of Cancun, Mexico.

Chelsea graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and is employed by Berlitz Language Center in Cancun.

Jorge attended Cancun Hotel and Restaurant Technical College and is employed by Budget Car Rental and the city of Cancun.

A March 10, 2007, wedding is planned at the Hyatt Hotel is Cancun.

Wedding: Evavold

Tara Geary and Jason Evavold were married Dec. 29, 2006, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Fergus Falls.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Jill Geary of Fergus Falls and the groom is the son of Virgil and Vicki Evavold of Underwood.

A reception was held at the Bigwood Event Center in Fergus Falls.

The couple lives in rural Dalton.

Wedding: Thomson

Jennifer Drechsel and Joseph Thomson were married Oct. 7, 2006, at Peace Lutheran Church in Bloomington.

Parents are Jeff and Robin Drechsel of Fergus Falls, Jim and Corrine Thomson of Bloomington and Kathy Thomson of Madeira Beach, Fla.

Maid of honor was Angie Gutz, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ann Swaggert, Alison Mason, Barbara Heidelberger and Kristy Jackson, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Bridget Thomson, sister of the groom. Personal attendants were Tracy Carter and Christy Drechsel, cousins of the bride.

Best man was Dave Chirico, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Thomson, brother of the groom, and Pete Berlute, Brendan McCarthy and Ted Pope, friends of the groom.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Shaylin and Noah Gutz, niece and nephew of the bride. A reception and dance were held at Minnesota Valley Country Club in Bloomington.

Jennifer is a 1997 graduate of Fergus Falls High School. Joseph is a 1996 graduate of Holy Angels High School of Richfield.

The couple resides in Chanhassen.
