Wedding: Emerson and Burau

Chelsea J. Burau and L.Cpl. Robert W. Emerson were married May 12, 2007, at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Mark Hume officiating.

Parents of the couple are Greg and Lori Burau and Steven Emerson of Fergus Falls, and Dale and Beth Englund of Underwood.

Maid of honor was MiKayla Orhn of Fergus Falls. Bridesmaids were Erica Orhn, Moorhead, Taylor Orhn, Coleraine, Emma Holo, Dalton, Christy Emerson, Underwood, and Erin Johnson, Fergus Falls. Flower girl was Madeline Eastwood of Dalton. Sandy Holo, Melanie Kastner and Mary Bressler served as personal attendants.

Best man was Greg Nelson of Fergus Falls. Groomsmen were Chad Haugtvedt, Center, N.D., Gunnar Crabtree, Fargo, Casey Strauch, Fergus Falls, Eli Ugstad, Fergus Falls, and Dane Holo, Fargo. Ring bearer was Josiah Sawatsky of Brooklyn Center. Ushers were Garrett Orhn, Coleraine, Aaron Stanley, Duluth, and Zach Still, Grand Rapids.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Fergus Falls National Guard Armory.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2007 graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Fergus Falls. She is employed with Texas Steakhouse in Moorhead City, N.C.

The groom graduated from Twin Oaks School of Fergus Falls in 2005. He is in the United States Marine Corp, stationed at the MCAS, Cherry Point, N.C. He is a C-130 crew chief.

The couple lives in Havelock, N.C.

Wedding: Christianson and

Melinda Anderson and Titus Christianson were married Dec. 22, 2006, at Federated Church, with the Rev. Jim Bjork officiating.

Parents of the couple are Kirby and Carolyn Anderson and Steve and Diane Christianson, all of Fergus Falls.

Brianne Berge, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Also attending the bride were Katy Christianson, sister-in-law of the bride, Jennifer Nelson-Russell and Anna Gross. Arriana and Olivia Stigen, cousins of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Brynn and Ava Anderson, cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Stephanie Peterson and Alysia Nelson served as personal attendants.

Trevor Christianson, brother of the groom, was best man. Also attending the groom were Devin Anderson, brother of the bride, Ben Brimhall, and Charlie Schonhardt. Ushers were Matt Spies, Nate Townsend, Shawn Sorenson and Travis Marohl.

A dinner at the Jazzy Fox preceded the ceremony, and the reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Bigwood Event Center.

The bride is employed as an English teacher at Minnetonka High School and is attending graduate school.

The groom is employed with Wells Fargo.

The couple lives in Chaska.

Wedding: Meyer and

Lisa Lewis and Steve Meyer were married Oct. 27, 2007, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Underwood.

Parents of the couple are Jan Tolifson of Fergus Falls, Arlan Tolifson of Houston, Texas, and Dan and Sally Meyer of Battle Lake. The bride was escorted down the isle by her brother, Jay Tolifson.

Serving as maid of honor was Tonya Simonson, sister-in-law of the bride. Samantha Lewis, daughter of the bride, served as a bridesmaid. Flower girls were Brittany and Madeline Meyer, daughters of the groom.

Brandon Meyer was best man. Groomsman was Tom Batson of Rochester. Ringbearer was Kyle Simonson, nephew of the bride.

A reception was held in the fellowship hall at the church following the ceremony.

The couple makes their home in Doran.

Wedding: Wahl and

Cassie Stratton and Andy Wahl were married Aug. 18, 2007, at the Perham Community Alliance Church in Perham.

Parents of the couple are Daryn and Ruth Kapaun of Dent, Mike Stratton of Fargo, and Bruce and Deb Wahl of Fergus Falls.

Attending the bride were maid of honor, Maren Trochmann. Bridesmaids were Frances Niemela, Kala Ertelt, Donelle McMahon, Emily Olson, Britta Lee and Logan Selisker.

Best Man was Jesse Johnson Groomsmen were Michael Wahl, Matt Skoy, Aaron Hystead, Sam Peterson, Adam Erickson and Sam Stratton.

The bride is a student at North Dakota State University in Fargo. The groom is employed at Midwest Motor Express in Fargo.

The couple lives in Fargo.

Wedding: Nordin and Andvik

Heidi Andvik and Scott Nordin were married Dec. 30, 2006, at Grace United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Daren Flinck officiating.

Parents of the couple are Linda and Bill Dumke, Allen and Jan Andvik of Fergus Falls and Joe and Theresa Nordin of Grand Forks, N.D.

Attending the bride were Jill Brethorst, serving as matron of honor, Traci Humann, Andrea Drechsel and Kristie Larson as bridesmaids. Flower Girl was Katelin Brethorst. Patsi Kugler served as personal attendant.

The groom's attendants were Chad Wolney as best man, Brian Nordin, Mike Freeman and Ryan Olson as groomsmen. Ushers were Scott Strand and Robert Wiper.

A reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Fergus Falls Eagles Club.

The couple makes their home in Grand Forks, N.D., where the bride is a social worker at the Grand Forks Senior Center

The groom is an account executive at Fine Print in Grand Forks.
