Wedding: Stigen and

Jo Nicholson and Jason Stigen were married April 27, 2007, at the Redstone Room in Davenport, Iowa, with the Rev. John Wegener officiating.

Parents of the couple are Tammy and Tom Nicholson of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Becky and Doug Stigen of Fergus Falls. Grandparents are Jane and Ernest Nauman of Cedar Falls and Gen Strande of Fergus Falls.

The maid of honor was Abi Nicholson, sister of the bride. Zeb Nicholson, brother of the bride, gave the bride away.

The best man was Sander Habraken, brother-in-law of the groom. Drake Habraken, the groom's nephew was the ring bearer.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Redstone Room.

The couple reside in Davenport, Iowa, where the bride is a wellness coordinator with Trinity Work Fitness, and the groom is a physical therapist with Trinity Medical Center.

Engagement: Goldade and

Maggie Wolf and Matthew Goldade announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Bruce and Becky Wolf of New Prague and Duane and Patricia Goldade of Fergus Falls.

Maggie is a 2001 graduate of New Prague High School and a 2005 graduate of the College of Saint Benedict with a degree in sociology. She is employed by South Washington County School District in Woodbury as a school-aged care site supervisor.

Matthew is a 2001 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2005 graduate of Saint John’s University in Collegeville, with a degree in economics. He is employed by Transport America in Eagan as a financial analyst.

An Oct. 27, 2007, wedding is planned at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague.

Engagement: Obowa. and

Brittany Vaughan and Taylor and Madison Obowa announce the engagement of their parents, Barbara Vaughan and Shannon Obowa.

An April 12, 2008, wedding is planned.

Anniversary: Hanson and

Arden “Bud” Hanson and Myrna (Haggstrom) Hanson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6. They were married in 1947, at Zion Lutheran Church in Amor.

The couple has five children, Linda and Bill Moore of Clarksville, Tenn., Bruce and Anne Marie Hanson of Ottawa, Kansas, Laurie and Keith Hoover of St. Joseph, Mo., Lynette and Kip McGrath of Weston, Mo., and Brad Hanson of Weston, Mo. Bud and Myrna have six grandchildren, Chris Moore and Brian Moore, Shelly Williams, Nathan Hoover, Bridget Head, Erin Frakes, and Eric Hanson. They have four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Mat, Lindsey, and Brooklyn.

Their children request a card shower for their parents to celebrate the 60 years of love, commitment and blessings the two have shared.

Wedding: Williams and

Katrina Krenzel and Ward Williams were married May 19, 2007, at Aastad Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, with Judge Jon Stafsholt officiating.

Parents of the couple are Marsha Krenzel-Stetson of Fergus Falls, the late Marvin Krenzel and Edward and Ann Williams of Elbow Lake.

Serving as maid of honor was Kristy Rix. Bridesmaid was Bethany Sampson. Personal attendant was Myrantha Jones, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Brad Meyer. Nathan Lien, cousin of the bride, was groomsman. Ushers were Matthew Lien, cousin of the bride, and Lyle Grabowski, uncle of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was given at the Ashby American Legion.

The bride is employed at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Buffalo and the groom is a police office for the city of Annandale.

The couple lives in Maple Lake.
