Shannon Marie Livingstone and Zachary Peter Walters announce their engagement. Parents of the couple Craig and Dianne Livingstone of Red Wing and Mark and Sharilyn Walters of Duluth.

Shannon is a 2005 graduate of University of Minnesota, Duluth, with a degree in graphic design. She is employed at Maurices Inc., as an assistant buyer.

Zach graduated from UMD in 2006, with a degree in psychology and is a full time professional boxer.

An August 2008 wedding is planned in Duluth.

Anniversary: Sawyer and

George and Joyce Sawyer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, in the fellowship hall at Good Shepherd Church in Wheaton.

Engagement: Picchiarini and Hruby

Robert and Mary Beth Hruby of Fergus Falls, announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Beth, to Marco Richard Picchiarini, son of Arthur and Jan DeVries of Fergus Falls and James Picchiarini of St. Paul.

Holly is a 1998 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed with Bank of the West as a loan officer.

Marco is a 2000 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed with the state of Minnesota.

A Sept. 29, 2007, wedding is planned at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Anniversary: Nord and

Glen and Joyce (Ackert) Nord will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 21, having been married in 1957.

The couple has three children, Veronica (Dean) Mahler of Fargo, Kathleen (Thomas) Gehrig of West Fargo and Judith Nord of Hastings; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sally Anne Kleindl and Andrew Joel Nelson, along with their parents, Jack and Carol Kleindl of Graceville, Julie Nelson, and Nate and Deb Nelson, all of Fergus Falls, announce their engagement.

She is a 2002 graduate of Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley High School and will graduate in December 2007 from Minnesota State Community and Technical College Fergus Falls with a paraprofessional degree. She is employed by Children's Comer Learning Center as a preschool teacher.

He is a 2000 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2002 graduate of North Dakota State Collage of Science in Wahpeton, N.D., with an associate in applied science degree in the electrical program. He is employed by the city of Fergus Falls in the Park and Recreation

department.
