Wedding: Vandever and Kowalski

Vanessa Vandever and Brandon Kowalski were married March 8, 2008, at First Church of the Nazarene in Fergus Falls.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Darlene Vandever, Kevin and Edie Kowalski and Rene Kowalski, all of Fergus Falls.
Vanessa is a graduate of MSCTC Fergus Falls and is employed with MeritCare as an office specialist.
Brandon will be Graduating this spring from MSUM Moorhead with a degree in Biology and will be pursuing his Ph.D. at North Dakota State University in the fall.

Wedding: Crabtree and Tommerdahl

Sarah Ann Tommerdahl and Tyler Lee Crabtree were married Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Doug Giese officiating.
Parents of the couple are Kay and Stuart Tommerdahl of Fergus Falls, Kerri and Dean Dolan of Fergus Falls, and Scott and Sonja Crabtree of Fargo.
The bride's maid of honor was her friend, Rhonda Giese. Bridesmaids were Trista Giese, sister of the groom, Kelly Tommerdahl, sister-in-law of the bride, McKayla Crabtree, sister of the groom, and friends Kaitlyn Cornell and Traci Datwyler. Flower girls were Madison and Taegan Crabtree, sisters of the groom.
The groom's best man was his friend, Josh Smith. Groomsmen were Brendan Giese, brother-in-law of the groom; the bride's brothers, Paul Tommerdahl, Jordan Tommerdahl and Javonte Tommerdahl; and friend of the groom, Kyle Nash.
Honorary attendants were Katie and Josh Haus, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.
Sarah, a 2005 graduate of Fergus Falls High School, is a junior at Bethel University in Arden Hills, majoring in communication studies, and is employed at Bethel Seminary.
Tyler, a 2005 graduate of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, is a junior at Northwestern College in Roseville, majoring in pre-chiropractic studies, and is employed at Valvoline Oil.
The couple lives in New Brighton.

Wedding: Hansen and Benson

Emily Benson and Nicholas Hansen were married Sept. 22, 2007, at Hillside Lutheran Brethren Church in Succasunna, N.J., with the Revs. Robert Becker, grandfather of the bride, and Timothy Ysteboe officiating.
Parents of the couple are Doug and Nancy Hansen of Fergus Falls and James and Ruth Benson of Succasunna.
Attending the bride were Carrie and Alice Benson, sisters of the bride, Nicole Crist, Christina Hutchinson, Christine Faro and Melissa Weldon. Alice Battillo served as flower girl and Kelley Aase was personal attendant.
Attending the groom were Luke Hansen, twin brother of the groom, Josiah Larson, Donovan Rogness, Adam Kinunen Tyler Cooke and Jonathon Little. Ringbearers were Gavin Knutson and Matthew Knutson, nephews of the groom. Ushers were Sam Townsend, cousin of the groom, David Sunde and Titus Brue.
A reception and dance followed the ceremony at Flanders Valley in Flanders, N.J. A local reception was held Oct. 6 at First Baptist Church in Fergus Falls.
The bride is teaching elementary physical education and the groom is employed at M and T Bank.
The couple lives Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Wedding: Erik and Talsness

Sara Talsness and Erik Ronnevik were married Dec. 29, 2007, at Hamar Lutheran Church in Rothsay.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Peggy Talsness of rural Underwood and Hans and Rachel Ronnevik of rural Fergus Falls.

She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and is employed at Faith and Fellowship bookstore in Fergus Falls.
He is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead and farms near Carlisle.
The couple resides in Fergus Falls.

Engagement: Honsey and Davis

Nichole Honsey and Chris Davis announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Dale and Jewel Honsey of Rolette, N.D., Dennis Davis formerly of Fergus Falls, and Curt and Margie Larson of Warroad.
Nichole is a 2002 graduate of Rolette High School and a 2006 graduate of North Dakota State University, with a bachelor of science degree. She is an interior designer.
Chris is a 2002 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a bachelor of science. He is now stationed in Jacksonville, Fla., as a pilot in the U.S. Navy.
A July 5, 2008, wedding is planned at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Rolette, N.D.

Engagement: Hexum and Logan

Melissa Jean Hexum and Eric Alan Logan announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Kevin and Sheryl Hexum and Jim and Ginny Logan, all of Fergus Falls.
She is a 2000 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is a stay-at-home mother.
He is a 1997 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed as the assistant manager at Pizza Hut in Fergus Falls.
An Aug. 9, 2008, wedding is planned at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
