Engagement: Wifall and Rud

Lani Wifall and Paul Rud announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Audrey and Wallace Wifall of Pelican Rapids and Carolyn and Mark Rud of Fergus Falls.

She is a graduate of Pelican Rapids High School and is a student at

Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage in Fargo. She is employed at St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes.

Paul Rud is a graduate of Pelican Rapids High School and Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. He is employed at Innova Industries in Fergus Falls.

An April wedding is planned in Jamaica, followed by a local reception in May.

Wedding: Johnson and Kokkeler

Shannon Kokkeler and Derek Johnson were married on Oct. 20, 2007, at the Cherokee Park Church in St. Paul, by the Rev. Justin Lind-Ayres, friend of the groom.

The parents of the couple are the late Larry and Sheila Kokkeler and

Elwin and Ellen Johnson of Fergus Falls .

Attendant for the bride was Allison Kokkeler of Greensboro, N.C., sister of the bride. Astrid Axtman of Fargo, cousin of the bride, was the leaf girl.

Attendant for the groom was Scott Johnson of Eden Prairie, brother of the groom. Ushers were Jason Anderson of Minneapolis and Chad Nelson,

Portland, Maine, friends of the groom.

After a Caribbean cruise in December, the couple makes their home in Eden Prairie.

Wedding: Dunham and Filbert

Candi Filbert and Nolan Dunham were married April 21, 2007, at North Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Pelican Rapids, with the Rev. Curt Tilleraas officiating.

Parents of the couple are Emil and Gerry Genzler of Fergus Falls and Herman and Delores Dunham of Rothsay.

Matron of Honor was Karen Baham, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jean Jeseritz, sister of the bride and Brenda Scheer, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Alexis Ost, great-niece of the bride. Personal attendants were Shawna Mohn, Linda Jones and Kathy Evavold, all friends of the bride. Honorary flower girls were Abigail Dunham and Hailey Dunham, great-nieces of the groom.

Best Man was David Oslund, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were David Dunham, brother of the groom and JR Rasmussen, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Isaac Regelstad, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Chad Jeseritz and Wade Jeseritz, nephews of the bride, and Brian Dunham and Evan Shoemaker, nephews of the groom. Honorary ring bearers were Luke Jeseritz, godson of the bride and groom, and Ashton Dunham, great-nephew of the groom.

A reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Best Western Doublewood Inn in Fargo.

Candi is employed by Golden Manor in Barnesville and Nolan farms in the Rothsay area.

The couple is planning to take a cruise to the Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands and Jamaica in February 2008 for a late honeymoon.

The couple lives in Barnesville.

Wedding: Edwards and Legge

Kathy Legge and Jason Edwards were married Oct. 6, 2007, at Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Parents of the couple are Jeff and Renae Legge and Dan and Sandy Edwards, all of Fergus Falls.

Matrons of honor were sisters of the bride, Julie Rustand and Jill Swenson. Also attending the bride were Jessica Edwards and Jackie Edwards.

The best man was Zachary Fjestad and groomsmen were Dan Vogel, Brady Swenson and Matthew Rustand.

Ushers were Paul Sanft and Dave Sletten.

A reception and dance followed at the Pebble Lake Golf Course.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico and live in Fargo, where Kathy is pursuing a PhD., in pharmaceutical science from North Dakota State University, and Jason teaches sixth-grade science at Discovery Middle School.

Wedding: Ott and Tietz

Heather Tietz and Nick Ott were married Oct. 6, 2007, at The First United Church of Christ in Fergus Falls.

Parents of the couple are Scott and Amy Tietz and Larry and Sally Ott, all of Fergus Falls.

Matron of honor was Jamie Wothe. Attendants were Sarah Shuck, Nicole Wallace, Brittany Knutson and Tanya Ott. Flower girls were Joplin Shol and Cierra Jones. Personal attendant was Jean Wallace.

Best Man was Chris Ott. Groomsmen were Josh Tietz, Adam Tietz, Josh Knutson and James Rogholt. Ring bearer was Ethan Wothe. Ushers were Danny Pederson, Jesses Drechsel and Luke Knuston.

Following the ceremony reception was held at the church followed by a dance at the Eagles.

The couple makes their home in Fergus Falls.

Engagement: Kjono and Anderson

Lynette Kjono and Paul Anderson announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Merlin and Barbara Kjono of Fergus Falls, Kathy Anderson of Lisbon, N.D., and Howard Anderson of Shelton, N.D.

She is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and is employed by Primewood in Wahpeton.

He is a graduate of Lisbon High School and is employed by a farmer.

A March 7 wedding is planned at Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton.
