Wedding: Harris and Stortroen

Katie Harris and Tynan Stortroen were married March 1, 2008, at Mirada Beach Club in Isia Mujeres, Mexico.
Parents are Jon and LuAnn Harris and Mark and Donna Stortroen, all of Fergus Falls.
Attendants were Sam Highland, Natalie Stortroen, Tara Pederson, Matt Muchow, Samm Knutson, Derek Harris. Flower girl was Alaina Pederson.
Hosts and Hostesses were Daniel Harris and Jessica Walker, Dustin Harris and Hayley Sokness.
A recepton and dance is planned in April.
Katie is employed at Lakes and Prairies CAP Head Start in Campbell. Ty is employed by Anderson Land Surveying in Fergus Falls.
The couple will make their home in Fergus Falls.

Engagement: Koenen and Helmrichs

Larry and Renee Helmrichs announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Lynette, to Chad Jeffrey Koenen, son of Jeff and Renae Koenen of Wheaton.
Danielle is a 1998 graduate of Wadena-Deer Creek High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Crookston with degrees in applied studies and dietetics. She is employed as a dietetic at Knute Nelson Nursing Home in Alexandria.
Chad is a 2000 graduate of Wheaton High School and a 2004 graduate of North Dakota State University, with a degree in mass communications. He is the news editor at the Starbuck Times in Starbuck.
A May 10, 2008, wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek.

Engagement: Hjelmen and Schenck

Angela Hjelmen and Benjamin Schenck announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Robert and Lynn Hjelmen of Fergus Falls, Richard Schenck and Kathleen Weidner, both of Sabin.

Angela attends Metropolitan State University in St. Paul and Benjamin graduated from Lake Superior College. He is employed as a firefighter/paramedic by the St. Paul Fire Department.

A June 21, 2008, wedding is planned at Church of the Good Shepherd, Moorhead.

Engagement: Wald and Sellner

Robert and Barbara Sellner of Sleepy Eye announce the engagement of their daughter, Theresa, to Michael Wald, son of James and Donna Wald of Fergus Falls.
Theresa is a 2004 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Sleepy Eye and 2006 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar, with a degree in veterinary technology. She is employed at Hutchinson Pet Hospital in Hutchinson as a certified veterinary technician.
Michael is a 2001 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and 2004 graduate of NDSCS in Wahpeton, with degrees in architectural drafting and estimating and construction management. He is employed at Lester Buildings in Lester Prairie as an engineering services technician.
