Wedding: Brusven and Conley

Colleen Rae Conley and Randy John Brusven were married July 7, 2007, at Grace United Methodist Church, in Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Daren Flinck officiating. Paul Malecha and Kendra Gamble performed the ceremony music.

Parents of the couple are Alex and Sharon Conley of Fergus Falls, Diane Frazier of Pelican Rapids, and the late John Brusven.

Serving as maid of honor was Belinda Hauger, cousin of the groom. Also attending the bride were her nieces, Alison Conley as junior bridesmaid, and Erin Conley as flower girl. Personal attendants were Dawn Klossner, cousin of the groom, and Colleen Johnson, friend of the bride.

Serving as best man was Joe Hauger, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Tom Brusven, cousin of the groom, and Cary Danielson, Joel Kern, and Chris Watterud, all friends of the couple.

A reception and dance were held at the Fergus Falls National Guard Armory following the ceremony.

Colleen is employed by the Fergus Falls Police Department and Randy is employed by the United States Postal Service in Pelican Rapids.

The couple resides in rural Rothsay.

Engagement: Jax and Dohrer

Ashley Dohrer and Jason Jax announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Eugene and Vicki Dohrer of Fergus Falls and Robert and Joann Jax of Mayer.
She is a 2000 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and will graduate in December from MCTC as a registered nurse. She is employed at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.
He is a 1997 graduate of Watertown-Mayer High School and a 2001 graduate of Argosy College with an associates degree in radiologic technology. He is employed with the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.
A Sept. 6, 2008, wedding is planned at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Anniversary: Hanson

Harvey and Marge Hanson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house in their honor from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Tingvold Lutheran Church in Underwood.
No gifts please.

Anniversary: Rueckert

Norv and Marj Rueckert of Fergus Falls will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary during an open house in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
The couple’s children will host the event.
