Whether you’re a first-time rodeo goer or a seasoned enthusiast, this year’s Red Horse Ranch PRCA Rodeo offers something for everyone. The third Annual PRCA Rodeo will kick off on Thursday, Aug. 16 with three action-packed evening performances beginning at 7:30 pm nightly.
Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 16-18, Rodeo fans will be treated to bareback and saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, roping and America’s favorite, bull riding, by the country’s best professional rodeo athletes.
Professional cowboys and cowgirls will be coming from as far away as Oklahoma and Texas just to compete at the Red Horse Ranch, one of the finest facilities in the country.
Professional Rodeo announcer, Kelly Kenney, said he looks forward to coming to Fergus Falls every year.
The Red Horse Ranch Arena is proud to designate Thursday, Aug. 16 as Tough Enough To Wear Pink Night, with a portion of ticket sales from the evenings performance donated to breast cancer research and education.
Participants and spectators alike are challenged to show their support by wearing pink to the Rodeo that evening.
Back by popular demand, Friday’s performance will feature the Wild Cow Ride and Saturday’s performance will again feature the kid’s Mutton Bustin’ competition. Plus, the first 100 kids through the gate every evening will receive a free bandana.
Merchandise vendors, food concessions and beer gardens are open on-site beginning at 6 p.m. each night.
Discounted advance tickets are on sale now at BJ’s, Olson Oil, the Country Store, RCC Western Store, Wild 104.1 or the RHRA, located at 22671 County Highway 10, Fergus Falls.
Tickets will also be available at the gate the evening of the show.
The price of a ticket also includes a live band and dance following every performance.
