Monsebroten, MSCTC men edge Marauders

The Minnesota State CTC Spartan men grabbed a huge win Saturday afternoon after Dustin Monsebroten stole the ball on an inbounds pass, was fouled, and made two free throws in a 69-67 win over Minneapolis.
A three-point shot Scott Stebe drained with 46 seconds left set up the Monsebroten steal to win the game.
Jason Speer led the team in scoring with 16. Monsebroten was right behind with 15.
Ziro Novalath led the Marauders with 18.
MSCTC held a 34-26 edge on the boards. Speer grabbed nine.
The Spartans will travel to Willmar Wednesday for an 8 p.m. game with Ridgewater.
