Erhard farmer found dead

The death of a 51-year-old rural Erhard farmer found around 3 a.m. Wednesday in his dairy barn is being investigated by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department.

The name is not being released pending notification of relatives.

The man’s wife, the sheriff’s department said, came home and could not find him and called a relative to help look for him.

The relative discovered him in the barn. The body was taken to the Otter Tail County coroner to determine cause of death.

No other details are available.
