Errors kill Lady Spartans in doubleheader sweep

Errors helped Southern Division leader Ridgewater claim a pair of victories over Minnesota State CTC Tuesday.

The Warriors won the opener 7-5 by scoring seven unearned runs off four MSCTC errors.

Former Otter Tail Central star CalieAnn Rittenour picked up the pitching victory.

Brittany Quistorff led the Lady Spartans with three hits and one RBI. Claire Parks went 2-for-4.

Kristen Hegna went 2-for-3 in the victory,

Tara Thielke was 5-for-6 as the Warriors won the second game 15-10 in 10 innings.

Sam Woida led the Spartans at the plate with four hits and two runs. Melissa Walvatne and Whitney Blair both collected three hits. Laura McCarthy hit a three-run homer.
