Lee Cavanagh cards second round 73

DETROIT LAKES - Lee Cavanagh of Perham shot a 73 Wednesday to post the third best overall score in Pine to Palm qualifying play.
Cavanagh, who shot rounds of 64 and 73 for a two-day 137 total, will now face Eric Weiss Thursday in match play.
Fergus Falls' Mike Tuel was three strokes off his 72 pace Tuesday and finished with a 147. Tuel will now face Brook Buckallew in match play.
Perham's Bob Cavanagh came in with rounds of 73 and 77 to grab the final qualifying spot with a 150. Cavanagh draws defending champ Cory Blenkush in the first round of match play.
Perham's Taylor Cavanagh knocked four strokes off Tuesday's 77 to also qualify for the 64-man match play finals. Cavanagh will face Reid Mattson in match play.
Perham's Joe Schornack did not qualify for the championship finals but will continue in tournament play.
Fergus Falls' John Hagge faces defending champ Jim Bergerson of Barnesville in Senior Division match play.
