ATV accident

Published 12:00 p.m., August 19, 2008

A 47-year-old West Fargo woman was injured over the weekend when the ATV she was riding tipped over northwest of Dent.

According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Denise Mischel was riding an ATV in a cut hay field adjacent to Big McDonald Lane when she turned too quickly, causing it to tip and throw Mischel from the vehicle. The woman was not wearing a helmet.

Mischel was transported by ambulance to Perham Memorial Hospital. Alcohol is suspected in the accident; an investigation is pending.
