Uden
Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Dale M. Uden has been selected for promotion to the rank of chief master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Uden, an aircraft maintenance superintendent with 25 years of military service, is assigned to the 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Fairbanks, Alaska.
His wife, Connie, is the daughter of Erhardt and Charolet Krabbenhoft of Pelican Rapids.
Capt. Deborah K. Travis
Travis
Air Force Capt. Deborah K. Travis has been decorated with the Iraq Campaign Medal authorized by the President of the United States.
The medal is awarded to members of the U.S. armed forces who serve or have served in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq or contiguous waters or air space above Iraq as defined by such regulations, on or after March 19, 2003, and before a terminal date to be prescribed by the Secretary of Defense.
Travis, a director of operations with 10 years of military service, is assigned to the 1st Fighter Wing, Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Va.
She is the daughter of Colette Jenne of Fergus Falls and Cathy Kill of Belle Plaine.
The captain graduated in 1986 from Fergus Falls High School.
Erickson
Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. Michael R. Erickson has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Erickson, a C-130 aircraft navigator with 28 years of military service, is assigned to the 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
His wife, Richell, is the daughter of Janice Davis of Ottertail.
Phillippy
Army Pvt. Joshua T. Philippy has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Carl Philippy of Pelican Rapids.
Phillippy graduated in 2007 from Pelican Rapids High School.
Danielson
Air Force Airman Dana J. Danielson recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
She is the sister of Zachary Danielson of Fergus Falls.
Danielson graduated from a home school program in 2006.
