Storrusten nets 30 for Pelican Rapids

PELICAN RAPIDS — Tydan Storrusten dropped 30 points as the Vikings romped past the Crookston Pirates 73-51 Friday night in a non-conference game.
Eric Shulstad chipped in with 18 points and eight boards for the Vikings.
Sam Wolpert led the Pirates with 15 points followed by Matt Crawford with 10.
The Vikings headed into half-time with a comfortable lead of 31-19. They also won the rebounding battle 37-26.
The Pirates committed 22 turnovers compared to the 12 the Vikings had.
Pelican Rapids is now 7-4 and will travel to Ulen-Hitterdal Tuesday night.
