FF store sells $200,000 ticket

A Fergus Falls convenience store sold a $200,000 winning Powerball ticket to an Arizona man.
Shaun Campbell purchased the five-line quick-pick for June 25 at Frontier Tesoro while passing through on a drive from Fargo to Minneapolis.
Campbell’s last five numbers matched the first five numbers drawn, leaving him $200,000 wealthier.
Campbell didn’t waste any time when it came to claiming his prize. He headed to the Lottery headquarters in Roseville on June 27.
Frontier Tesoro store manager Tim McCabe said it’s not often the store gets to sell the winning ticket.
“It was kind of exciting because it’s the biggest one we’ve had here, that I’ve known,” McCabe said.
McCabe expects the win will attract some more customers who may look at Tesoro as their good luck charm.
“When they sell a big one, then people seem to come in to buy them,” McCabe said. “They think they’ll get lucky.”
