Post 30 bows twice

THIEF RIVER FALLS – Thief River Falls hung two losses on the Fergus Falls Post 30 crew Friday in American Legion action.
Joe Anderson was touched for 15 hits as Fergus lost the opener 11-7. Cody Conners had two three-run homers and Sean Sorteberg collected one.
Derek Hansen blasted his fourth home run of the season. The Fergus slugger drove in three runs and joined Jake Heck and Matt Hanson with two safeties.
Thief grabbed a 7-2 lead in the first two innings en route to a 9-7 win in the nightcap.
Kyle Shaikoski was hung with the loss. Myles Keefe went the distance for the win.
Spencer Johnson homered for Thief.
Hansen socked his fifth home run, went 3-for-4 at the plate, scored three runs and drove in one. Kris Johnson drove in two runs.
Post 30 goes on the road Sunday for a meeting with Fargo.
