Worner to speak at Unitarian Church:
Bob Worner will be speaking on the topic "Mid Summer Day's Dream,” at the 10:30 a.m. service at the Underwood Unitarian Church. The focus will be on one of the church’s principle: The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.

Cornerstone announces fair winners:
Winners of the Applebee’s gift cards presented by Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church at the Otter Tail County Fair were Bree Balch, Ivy Mikkelson,Katie Kruft and Martha Buchholz.
Maine church plans Summerfeast:
St. James Catholic Church will host its Summerfeast Sunday, July 27, beginning with an outdoor Mass at 10 a.m. followed by the feast, served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the church, located on Highway 74, in Maine.
The feast includes grilled pork chops, summer salads and mixed desserts. Cost is by donation.
Also included as part of the festivities will be games for all ages, music and a pie sale, with proceeds donated to the works of Fathers John Budke and Nick Brown. Some of the money raised will also benefit the maintenance needs of the St. James parish.
VBS begins at Trinity:
Trinity Lutheran Church will hold Vacation Bible School (VBS) next week from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All children, from ages 3 through sixth grade are invited to attend.
The theme: "A Friendship Hike," will take children on a journey through Bible stories of Jesus' love for them. To further their study, there will also be Bible verses, crafts, games and songs.
The board of christian education at Trinity has have transformed the area into a mountain scene with pine trees, painted back drops, tents, and a long winding hiking trail through out the entire setting. The children move from one activity to another during their nightly hike.
A CD of the week's songs will be given to each family attending. The evening begins with a light meal.
Registration forms are available at Trinity, 1150 West Cavour, or call during office hours. Pre-registration is not required, but helpful. There is no charge. Call 218-736-4869 for more information or to register.
St. Paul Lutheran plans polka worship:
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Friberg Township will host a heritage folk polka worship Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. with music and worship, followed by songs at 10:30 a.m. and brunch at 11:30 a.m. Performing accordion harmonies will be Yvonne Marts, Marge Hanson and James Larsen.
Grace youth sponsor Schwan’s fundraiser:
The youth group at Grace United Methodist Church is having a fundraiser to support their mission trip to help rebuild a flood damaged house in Wisconsin.
The Schwan’s truck will be parked in the parking lot at Grace United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. noon Sunday. The youth will received a percentage of sales for their mission trip.For more information, call the church.
