Fergus to Breck road work underway
Published Monday, July 28, 2008
Motorists traveling between Fergus Falls and Breckenridge, along Highway 210, are urged to heed warning signs about highway shoulder work that began at 8 a.m. this morning. The completion date for this project and four others is Aug. 15.
“Motorists should watch for shoulder closures where crews are working” said Dana Hanson of the Minnesota Department of Transportation. “Mn/DOT urges motorists to slow down and use caution while traveling through a work zone.”
Other highway shoulder work includes Highway 29, Benson to Pope County Highway 18 in Starbuck; Highway 119, Highway 59 in Appleton to Highway 12; Highway 9, Highway 28 in Morris to Grant County Road 32 north of Herman; and Highway 27, Highway 9 in Herman to Highway 59.

The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.Posted by letsrock (anonymous) on July 28, 2008 at 5:59 p.m. (Suggest removal)
