U19 Cyclones stop Pelican Rapids 2-0

Daniel Anderson and Chris Stier scored goals and Noah Heidorn blocked 13 shots Monday night as the Fergus Falls U19 Cyclones blanked Pelican Rapids 2-0 at DeLagoon Park.
Anderson took a feed from Karl Sanderson and found the net two minutes into the second half. Stier scored on a PK 25 minutes into the second half after he was taken down in the box.
David and Karl Sanderson and Chase Kolle were credited with fine defensive efforts.
The shutout was Heidorn’s third of the season. The Cyclones are now 7-1-2 as they travel to Thief River Falls Wednesday night.
