Kempfer joins Fergus Falls Vision Center as a partner

Doctors Thomas H. Smith and Denise M. Hanson announced recently that Dr. Tara A. Kempfer has joined them as a partner at Fergus Falls Vision Care.
Dr. Kempfer is originally from Madison. She received her BA degree from Augustana College of Sioux Falls, S.D., and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore.
She completed clinical rotations in Colorado and Oregon with an emphasis on pediatric vision and vision therapy. She also completed rotations in Oregon working with primary eye care, eye diseases and contact lenses.
She has practiced at Fergus Falls Vision Care since August 2006. One of the major factors in her decision to join Drs. Smith and Hanson was their innovative work in vision therapy and pediatric eye care. Dr. Kempfer is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and believes that vision is a key component for reading and academic success.
Fergus Falls Vision Care is located at 210 N. Cascade.
