Part from plant sold on eBay:
Otter Tail Ag Enterprises reported a subcontractor allegedly stole property — a valve — from its rural Fergus Falls ethanol plant and tried to sell it on eBay, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department.
No dollar amount was available for the valve. The incident was reported Tuesday at 2:20 p.m. No other information is available, but a report is expected shortly.
Mailbox vandalism:
Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department received a report of 14 mailboxes vandalized during the morning of March 21 south of Clitherall Lake Road, Crane Lake Drive and state Highway 78 east of Battle Lake and south of Clitherall. The incidents are under investigation.
Teen injured in Henning accident:
A 17-year-old female from rural Sebeka lost control of her 1998 Pontiac passenger car south of Henning on County Highway 65. Speed and inexperience are believed to be factors, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department. She was not wearing a seatbelt. The car was totaled. She was taken by Henning Ambulance to Tri-County Hospital, Wadena. No condition information could be released, as she is a minor.
