Enger charged with drug offenses
Shawn Enger, 24, 412 W. Cherry, Fergus Falls, is facing multiple drug charges in Otter Tail District Court. He faces charges of stealing prescription drugs after an incident in January in which he took prescription drugs from the home of a relative. A restraining order was issued, which Enger is accused of violating April 30 when he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
In the January incident Enger allegedly went to the home of a relative and verbally harassed the relative for three hours trying to obtain some oxycodone. Enger allegedly grabbed a purse containing the drugs, took six tablets from the purse, and ingested them. On April 30 Enger returned to the residence, in violation of the restraining order. The violation was reported to police, who located Enger and arrested him. Enger had in his possession a substance in a bag that later tested positive for meth. He’s being held in county jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.
