FF girls finish second

DETROIT LAKES — Erin Morstad shot a medal-winning 82 as the Fergus Falls Otters claimed second in the Detroit Lakes Invitational Tuesday with a season-best 368.
Kylie Boe and Amber Hovland brought in rounds of 90 and 94 for the Otters.
Steph Schulz, Becca Rengel and Megan Suek rounded out the Fergus scoring with rounds of 102, 116 and 117.
Detroit Lakes won the invitational with a 353. Robin Hutchinson paced the Lakers with a runner-up round of 86.
Pelican Rapids was 11th in the meet with a 481. Michaela Gray’s 100 round led the Pelican effort.
Morstad shot a fifth-place score of 87 Monday as the Fergus Falls Otters placed third in the windy Willmar Invitational with a 387.
Maggie Leland carded an 83 as Alexandria took top team honors with a 339. Sartell was second with a 361.
Boe shot a 95 while Schulz carded a 101, Hovland turned in a 104, Suek shot a 119 and Katie Swedberg shot a 122.
Jorgenson leads Henning club
OTTERTAIL — Tanner Jorgenson shot a 92 as the Henning Hornets took third in a Quad County Conference meet at Thumper Pond.
The Hornets brought in a team round of 379.
Ortonville won the nine-team meet with a 343. CACGB placed second with a 372. Henning brought in a 379.
Logan Sonmor shot a 93 for the fourth-place Ashby-Evansville squad.
Brody Bakken led the fifth-place Underwood club with a 93.
