What is this?
Candidate thankful for voter support
Published Wednesday, October 1, 2008
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the voters in District 3 of Otter Tail County. Voting is a privilege that is reserved for only free societies. I truly appreciate all the people that voted and especially those who voted for me. I also want to thank all the volunteers who are helping with my campaign.
Now, I turn my attention to the Nov. 4 election. I will work vigorously to address issues that are confronting the citizens of the county.
For that purpose, I have been attending county board meetings for more than a year and listening to the issues that come before the present board.
Again, thanks to everyone who supported me and to all who will consider supporting me in the Nov. 4 election.

The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.Post a comment
