Area football teams rank mentioned

Four area football teams received votes in this week’s Associated Press State Prep Football Poll.
Fergus Falls received nine votes, placing the Otters just outside the top 10 in Class 4A rankings. Hillcrest Lutheran received 3 votes in the Class 9-Man category.
In Class 3A, the Perham Yellowjackets are ranked sixth, despite losing to Pelican Rapids last week. Pelican Rapids received three votes in the Class 2A category.
