Otter Tail Central shuts out Parkers Prairie

After a big win at home last week against Osakis to open the season, the Otter Tail Central Bulldogs traveled to Parkers Prairie Friday night, shutting out the Panthers 28-0.

The Bulldogs gained 289 yards of total offense, while the defense picked off the Panthers’ quarterback three times.

Shane Winkler led the way for the Bulldogs on the ground, gaining 92 yards on 16 carries. Quarterback Erik Smith completed six passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns; he also ran for two scores.

On the receiving end, Nate Bladow had two catches for 82 yards, both for touchdowns. Running Back Alex Ukkelberg had two catches for 84 yards.

Defensively the Bulldogs held Parkers Prairie to just 88 total yards for the game. The Bulldogs host Browerville next Friday.
