Amor church hosts fall supper

The 31st annual fall supper sponsored by Zion Lutheran Church of Amor is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24. Zion is located 10 miles north of Battle Lake, just off County Highway 1. Serving will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Adult price is $8 and children ages 6-12 are $3.50.
The menu features Swedish meatballs and Ham, along with traditional favorites such as Swedish rice, rommegrot, sweet soup, lefse and fancy cookies.
Women of Zion have been working on supper arrangements for several weeks. Carol Gealow, President of WELCA, is serving as coordinator. She reports that more than 700 were served in 2007.
Proceeds will be used for missions. Thrivent will be providing matching funds.
