Meds, tools stolen in burglaries

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is investigating burglaries in Richville and Ottertail.
Someone forcibly entered a home along County Highway 14 in Richville earlier this week, taking prescription medication and $350, the sheriff’s office reports. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
Authorities also received a report Tuesday of a garage burglary at an Ottertail address. In that case, someone entered a detached garage between Friday and Sunday and stole numerous tool sets worth hundreds of dollars, according to the sheriff’s office.
