M STATE Winter Band Concert set for December 11

The Minnesota State Community and Technical College Music Department presents its Winter Band Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, in the Waage Theatre on the Fergus Falls campus.

The concert will feature tunes to please a variety of musical tastes. Featured groups will be the M State Concert Band, M State Jazz Band and Lakeside Brass.

The Concert Band, joined by community and area high school musicians, will perform music made popular by the group Mannheim Steamroller. The Jazz Band will perform familiar upbeat swing tunes, and Lakeside Brass will play a variety of classical and jazz Christmas songs.

The reserved admission ticket prices are $8 in advance or $10 at the door for adults; $6 in advance or $7 at the door for 18 and under; and children 5 and under are free.
