Girls Hockey: Otters out-lasted

ROSEAU — The Fergus girls hockey team scored first and out-shot Lake of the Woods by a considerable margin, but lost 2-1 at the Roseau Tournament.

Lizzy Link gave the Otters a 1-0 lead when she buried a shot early in the opening frame.

Lake of the Woods tied it late in the second and registered the game-winning goal early in the third.

Fergus ended with a 28-13 shots on goal advantage.

Junior Varsity: The Fergus JV defeated Thief River Falls 3-1.
