Burglary reported at Lake Lida cabin

A cabin and a shed were entered and items were reported taken sometime between June 28 and July 1 on the north side of Lake Lida.
On Wednesday, Otter Tail sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from Donald Olson, of Minnetonka, that the shed at his cabin at 44159 Lida Shores Trail had been broken into, according to a Sheriff’s Office report. A neighboring cabin owned by Sarah Mattson was also found to be forcibly entered.
The items taken included numerous fishing equipment, tools and a Pioneer surround sound system, according to the report.
The burglaries continue to be under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
