Motorcycle hits deer, man injured

A Fergus Falls man was injured Wednesday night when his motorcycle struck a deer north of Parkers Prairie.
Robert Lee Brown, 54, was traveling northbound on State Highway 29 about seven miles north of Parkers Prairie when the accident occurred, according to the State Patrol. The State Patrol, Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and Parkers Prairie Ambulance responded around 9:30 p.m., and Brown was transported to Douglas County Hospital.
Brown’s condition was unavailable from the State Patrol Thursday. Authorities said Brown was wearing a helmet.
