College enrollment camp set for June 24
Published 10:52 a.m., June 18, 2009
For those interested in enrolling in fall semester courses at Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Fergus Falls (M State - Fergus Falls), Wednesday, June 24 could be the day to make it happen.
To make it convenient for potential students, the college is hosting a “1Stop2Enroll” day, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Legacy Hall.
Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to complete all aspects of the registration process. Students will be given the chance to apply, be accepted, register for classes and take assessment tests.
A student’s acceptance into a specific career program will be awarded based on the number of seats available and specific requirements.
Financial aid information will also be provided to students, though it is not required for students to complete financial aid applications during the 1Stop2Enroll program.
The idea behind the event is to limit the amount of time it generally takes students to complete the college registration process.
“There are students who want to make a decision, get it done and know that it is all taken care of,” said M State director of public relations, Steve Guttormson.
All students need to bring to the event is their high school transcript and, if applicable, a transcript from a college previously attended.
The college will continue to host more traditional orientation days for students enrolled in the fall semester. The first day of fall semester 2009 begins August 24.
