Clitherall woman injured

A Clitherall woman was seriously injured Sunday evening when her vehicle entered a ditch and became airborne near Vining.
Karen Ann Olson, 53, was eastbound on County Highway 40 around 6:20 p.m. when her Toyota Corolla drifted into the ditch, traveled along the ditch and hit an approach, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle became airborne and traveled several feet before coming to a stop.
Olson sustained serious injuries to her head and chest and was transported to Lake Region Hospital by Henning Ambulance.
