BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Vining native Karen Nyberg is to make another trip into space.
NASA says Nyberg has been assigned to the space shuttle crew that will travel to the International Space Station next April to deliver a Russian research module.
Nyberg spent 14 days aboard the shuttle Discovery and the International Space Station in May and June 2008.
Nyberg grew up in the northwestern Minnesota town of Vining. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UND in 1994.

I remember last June when she was aboard the shuttle. According to the NASA Human Space Flight schedule the shuttle was going to pass over Jersey one minute behind the ISS. It was a spectacular sight to see two bright objects wizzing across the sky knowing someone from back home was aboard. Check out this link. It will tell you when and where to see the ISS and when they have the info, they will put the shuttle information also. Fergus Falls is not listed so use Fargo, ND and you will be OK. http://spaceflight1.nasa.gov/realdata/si...
