GOP candidate kicks off campaign

Published 06:58 a.m., November 5, 2009

Former State Auditor Pat Anderson was in Fergus Falls Wednesday as part of a statewide tour kicking off her gubernatorial campaign.

Anderson calls herself a pro-liberty conservative who backs individual liberty and limited government. Her campaign, she said Wednesday, is about making a clear case for the principles she stands on.

just what we need another repub liar, talking about cutting taxes and building a great economy
this recession is proof again how their plan is nothing but crap

repubs mean CRAPITALISM not capitalism

or do you all forget the bubble burst recession of 1988 and the bank failures that started in 1986 with lincoln savings

the reason obama has to do so much deficit spending is because of repub mismanagement.

2001-2006 they gave bushpunk every blank check he wanted and let the bankers go unregulated

AND DONT EVEN TELL ME ITS ON CLINTON

because the same dang recession happened 5 years before clinton with reagen and daddybush followed by daddybush from 88-92 its almost a mirror image.

I aint a socialist but I dang sure wont support REPUB LIARS and CRAPITALISM

AT least obama is helping the unemployed with government extentions on unemployment

babybushpunk just said stuff it to all the americans who lost jobs under his wholesale outsourcing.

HEY LOOK in California the repubs are running that business failure CARY FLORINA

the loser that ran HP into the ground and then ran away with a 21 mil parachute

OF course the repubs will want her to be a candidate

they love using losers to run government

"Anderson calls herself a pro-liberty"
why is when I hear about individual Liberty it's always only Liberty for the rich?
how did the definition of Liberty and justice for all get so distorted that it now really means slavery and servitude for the masses and unbridled indulgences for the rich?
as FDR said in 1944 "necessitous men are not free men"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Bill...
let us return to the virtues that won WW2 and the spirit of securing real freedom for Americans, not subjugation of the poor until facism seems like an improvement.
nationalized health-care, The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation; The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
without Govt. regulation these principles will continue to erode while the rich get richer.
the final stage of success in the free market is monopoly. as in all competitions, champions arise and dominate the rest.
Free-trade and less Govt. will always produce MONOPOLY.
therefore to support Monopoly and free-trade is to support Facism!

Good for you Pat, hope the road is good for you. Pat, November 3, 2009, tells you that the people want their jobs back and a future for their family. A conservative will get elected. Wish you well.

Metasonics.....thank GOD every day for wealthy and rich people. They take great risk in creating business that employ people. And if they make money and a profit, good for them. I never got a job from a poor person. Never one time. America is still great even after the mess Obama and company are creating. You still can go out and work hard, work long hours, and manage your time and money.....and make a killing!! You can even employ people and help them create a life. Kids, work hard and vote smart! Metasonics, how many people do you employ?

a poor person no but a middle income yes. And bushpunk made the mess that obama is cleaning up. BUT you repubs always say your not at fault.

Hey dave adams read the post ya loser

I guess you IGNORED the facts about this being the second recession you repubs have caused for this country.

Dang straight I will name call you losers

I live by the rule shaft me once shame on you shaft me twice shame on me

this second recession is proof that you repubs dont know how to run a long term economic system. You just run crapitalism. and then you blame the dems who have to clean your mess up again. I notice you bums never complained about baby bush spending like a drunk sailor.

Here is another example of your repub losers

you want military wounded vets to give back their bonuses after they were deemed medically unfit by the military.

I bet bushpunk and chickenhawk cheney and rummy were up all night laughing about shafting the troops on this one

Current DOD regulations and federal law require repayment

if you are unable to complete your term of service and can't be retrained.

There is a bill in the House to fix that but nobody in the Senate has introduced a similiar bill.

na i would never make it , no one would elect a recovered doper like me.even though i got over 25 years.. oh wait did we not just kick out a repub doper ,,and aint their rushgod not a recovered doper. its funny how in 1985 their rushgod use to state that dopers like me did not deserve rehab they should be jailed..yet when his butt got busted he said i should not have to go to jail..I WENT TO BETTY FORD
REHAB..typical repub liar talking out the side of his neck..

just like his dumb butt stated on leno that the bailouts should not have been done..

guess he forgot history or ignored it as most repubs do.

it was called the great depression.

brought to you by the DO NOTHING REPUBS COOLIDGE AND HOOVER

I think we can lay this one on 3 Dems. Namely Bill Clinton, Barney Franks and Harry Reid. They are the ones who forced banks to give loans to people who could not afford them, because they said everyone has a right to a home. In about 2003 when people were alerting us that this whole mortage thing was going to drop on us. Barney Franks and Harry Reid refused to do anything, they basically ignored it. So if we are going to hang a resession on anyone it should be those 3.

LOL....I always get a kick out of people who believe only 1 party is to blame for events in this nation. It's as disengenuous as blaming Bush entirely for the Iraq war (remember - the Senate saw the exact same info as Bush and they overwhelmingly supported the war..until that info was found out to be false and then they began lying about supporting the war...but I digress). It's a fact that Barney "I can't identify the plants in my yard" Frank and Harry "duh" Reid supported and rallied for the open lending practices that helped the recession. Oh yeah, both are democrats. Do any democrats remember that during the last 2 years of Bush's term the democrats controlled Congress? Convienently forgot that, did you? Bush was not a good president so calling me a Bush supporter would be foolhearty. But both parties are to blame for the shape of the nation. The dems control everything now and they have already doubled the deficit. Nice job dems! It is clear the healthcare reform will cost more than they claim. But, perhaps, this will all work out fine in the end. Then again, I don't trust either corrupt party in Washington and I am certain the govt will screw up healthcare fantastically.
