A Fergus Falls woman has been sentenced to jail time and a fine for stealing a vehicle.
Jolee Marie Johnson, 25, took a locked 1989 Oldsmobile from the 500 block of West View Avenue in late July and drove it to Montana, according to a criminal complaint. She was stopped in Montana by authorities with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, who notified Otter Tail County.
Johnson pleaded guilty to one count of theft of a motor vehicle in September and was sentenced Nov. 13 to 30 days in jail and a $1,000 fine. She will receive credit for 39 days already served.
