Published 11:34 a.m., November 23, 2009

Several drivers were involved in vehicle rollovers throughout Otter Tail County over the weekend, with no injuries reported.

James Edward Kath, 35, of Brainerd, was pulling a boat and trailer westbound on U.S. Highway 10 around 8 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve, according to the sheriff’s office. Kath’s Chevy Blazer skidded, entered the median and rolled near the intersection with County Highway 84. Authorities say icy road conditions were a factor in the accident.

About an hour later, Devyn Curtis Kosanke, 26, of Vergas, was traveling on County Highway 4 near Camp Cherith Road when he swerved to avoid a deer and lost control of his vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office. Kosanke’s 2000 Jeep entered the ditch and rolled.

Robert Elliot, 18, address unknown, managed to escape his 1992 Cadillac after it ended up in a slough along County Road 88 Monday morning. The accident happened near 190th Street around 6:30 a.m. after Elliot swerved to miss a deer and went off of the road, entering the slough.
