Cold makes indoor activities hot

With cool temperatures expected this weekend, it may be time to take advantage of some of the indoor activities around town.
The Fall Festival of Cutting and Incentive Fund Futurity will be held both Friday and Saturday indoors at the Red Horse Ranch Arena. Gates open at 8 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 9
The Fall Festival of Cutting and Incentive Fund Futurity will begin at 8 a.m. at Red Horse Ranch Arena
The Friday Nights Rock @ M State concert will be held in the M State Dining Room on the Fergus Falls campus, beginning at 8 p.m.
The film, “Adam” will be shown at A Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m.
Girls Night Out at Cally’s Cafe from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. To RSVP, contact Jen Petersen at 205-0151
Oktoberfest will be celebrated in Pelican Rapids with sales downtown and karaoke at the Pelican Rapids VFW, beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 10

Fall Tour of Homes sponsored by Luhman Real Estate and 998HOME
Lindig Farms is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oktoberfest will be celebrated in Pelican Rapids.
A Firemen and Fire Safety event will be held at the Fergus Falls Public Library from 10 to 11 a.m.
The Pioneer Care Center is having its apple dumpling fundraiser from 2 to 4 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11

The Concordia Woodwind Quintet with Jihye Change will perform at 2 p.m. at M State Legacy Hall
Lindig Farms is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oktoberfest will continue in Pelican Rapids with sausage and beer sampling at the Crossroads Corner bar. A polka party will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the VFW
