Attitude has a great impact on your life
Published 11:06 a.m., September 4, 2009
Every June since 1992 I have helped as a camp Councilor at Northern Pines Junior/Senior High Camp located on the southeast shores of Fish-hook Lake just outside of Park Rapids Minnesota. Every morning we have breakfast at camp as both campers and staff before we have prayer we all read out loud the statement be low regarding our attitudes.
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude is more important than the facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past ... we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And, so it is with you ... We are in charge of our attitudes.” –( Chuck Swindoll)
Dr. Chuck Swindoll seems to have a great perspective on how we can look at the daily challenges life tend to throw our way. If we choose to look at the possibilities of each day from the roots of God’s unconditional agape love we have an unlimited resource in our lives. May we never forget if God is for us who could possibly be against us? (Romans 8:31)If we realize the faith of our Lord as the Savior of our lives we can rejoice in the truth of eternal life. Paul the great leader of the early Christian Church had every reason to give in to the pressure of the Roman Government. Yet he knew the God he was called by through the power of his Lord was far more capable of life than the Roman Government ever would be.
My friends we have been blessed to live in a nation that has provided great potential and freedom for us not just to survive in the habits of daily life but to be the potential of God! Far greater than the blessings of America is the endless love we can find in the Salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! That is reason to rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)

Fungus - That's hilarious!
What WOULDN'T jesus do?
Is it just me...or does the constant preaching and quotation of bible verses appear redundant? We get it. Why does the church have to be constantly pounding their faith at everyone? I've (unfortunately) heard the fairytailes hundreds of times...enough already. It's like your trying to constantly convince people to believe in jesus. I guess without proof...that's what your left with.....the constant barage of delusional propoganda. I could live my entire life and if I never heard another bible verse being quoted...I'd be just fine. AMEN.
