It’s a world of machines with threshing show, cycle ride

For a trip down memory lane, head to Dalton this weekend for The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Show. In addition to tractors, machinery and equipment, the event features displays, flea markets and concessions. Bikers in town will be hitting the roads Saturday morning for the Lakeland Hospice Foundation Ride. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Lakeland Hospice office on Pebble Lake Road. Riders will take off from noon to 5 p.m. Events will continue throughout the evening at the Fergus Falls American Legion.
Music lovers will enjoy the Corky Siegel Chamber Blues at A Center for the Arts Saturday evening. The Chamber Music Series event will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 11
- Otter Pride Night at the Fergus Falls Middle School gym from 5 to 7 p.m.
- Vets Appreciation Night at the VFW, featuring The Roosters
- The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Show will be held in Dalton, with a parade of giants at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12
- The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Show will be held in Dalton, with a 1:30 p.m. parade of giants and a 4 p.m. tractor pull
- A farmer’s market will be held at the WestRidge Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
-The Lakeland Hospice Foundation Ride will begin with a 9 a.m. registration. The ride will begin at noon, with a 5 p.m. dinner at the Fergus Falls American Legion. Entertainment will follow
- A Center for the Arts will host the Chamber Music Series at 7:30 p.m., featuring Corky Siegel Chamber Blues
Sunday, Sept. 13
- The Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen’s Show in Dalton will begin with a 9 a.m. worship service and 1 p.m. parade of giants
